Born and raised in Hawaii, I have a deep appreciation for the unique beauty and culture of these islands. Rich Leavitt has been a Realtor for the past nine years and recently relocated to Oahu in January 2024 from Washington State. Returning to Hawaii wasn't just a dream for Rich; it was a commitment he made to himself as a 19-year-old Marine stationed at Kaneohe Bay. He promised himself that one day he would come back to the islands for good. That promise became a reality as he made the decision, commitment, and took the necessary actions to return to Hawaii at a later age, where he is now more obsessed with the island than ever.

After leaving the Marine Corps, Rich returned to Washington and graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in Journalism. Although he didn't pursue a career as a writer, he worked in broadcast television as a technician, holding positions in Denver, Seattle, and Atlanta at TBS. At TBS, Rich honed his skills as an electronic graphics operator, working on hundreds of professional sports events across the U.S. for every major network, including CBS, NBC, ESPN, and two Summer Olympics. Although he left television a few years ago, in 2022, Rich decided to re-enter the industry as a freelancer, working on TV sports events in Seattle for teams such as the Mariners, Seahawks, Kraken, and Storm. This time, he took on the role of a Stage Manager rather than a graphics operator. Now, after relocating from Washington, Rich feels blessed to have been chosen to work on some UH football games locally for CBS in 2024.While TV freelancing remains a cool side hustle, Rich's main focus is on his real estate clients, whether they are buying or selling. He is relentless in his representation and dedicated to seeing each transaction through to the end. Dual licensed in Hawaii and Washington, Rich is ready to assist clients in either state. His favorite saying, "Elite Don’t Retreat," is a motto he lives by. He’s always ready to serve, because, for Rich, it’s all about the client. In his off time, Rich can be found at the gym, distance walking, listening to audiobooks, traveling, watching professional sports, or enjoying good restaurants. Let’s go!
